Yes. Confederate artillery, cavalry and infantry from Virginia and Confederate infantry from Georgia.
Incidentally, the Civil War was NOT fought over slavery.

My father told me my great great great great or however many greats grandfather fought on the good side which is the Union side. He is a War Hero blowing Holes in those racist Confederates that fought for Slavery! Tho, the Union back then in my opinion is far different than the corrupt one of Today that work for the Workers Union.

I believe I was related to a guys who fought on both sides, brothers I think. The one that I am more directly related to survived, but the other one got shot in the leg and drowned in mud. Bad way to die, huh?

both great grandfathers and one great uncle killed fighting for the confederacy, my uncle during the first Bull Run one during Gettysburg and the other defending my great grandma in Atlanta from a union officer trying to rape her, he killed 5 men before being killed by a shot to the face

Em my family has a long line of people in battle. So I would think so. Plus my great great great grandpa was a captain for WWI
