btw, I just want to say that whilst Phoebe makes an interesting and altruistic point; I don't see why anybody should be made to feel guilty about having an air conditioned house or drinking their favored brand of bottled water. There is only so much that can be done for third world children. A huge amount of $$$ is donated each year to African charities in order to try and save the kids living in poverty, including foundations which strive to build clean water facilities for villages. I can't help the fact I was born into a first world country where clean water is something that we take for granted. I donate to foreign charities and count my blessings everyday, so is it really fair that I should be made to feel bad because I happen to like purchasing my favorite brand of water? Being a martyr benefits nobody. Just saying ;)

I don't buy bottled water I use tap water in a Brita pitcher filter and just pour the water from the pitcher in the nice cold fridge in my water bottle that I use all the time since plastic water bottles are slowly destroying the Earth and it's oceans. And if I do happen to drink from a water bottle whether I get it from a vending machine, a friend's house, or someplace like Subway (I don't drink soda) I don't give a baboon's butt about what the brand is because I know that it all comes from the same planet and is filtered and cleaned the same way. I'm not paying extra money for Fiji water that claims they have the purest water or something how naive can you be? Think of those thirsty children you see in Africa behind your HD television screen in your nice air conditioned house. Then think about if you really want to be picky about the brand of water bottle you like you drink.
Thanks :*

I have never understood people who buy bottled water and still pay water rates - if there is nothing wrong with your tap water supply why pay twice ( probably more than twice when you of see the cost of some of these bottled waters).

The brands that are not "fluoridated". I have a list. I am currently using Nestle's. Before that I bought Ozarka. I think I may switch to tap water that I filter myself though.
