BQ: What's the most unusual food you've seen or eaten that was deep-fried? (I've seen a stick of butter deep-fried at a State Fair once...but didn't try it)

chicken and cheese sticks.
BQ: I would have to say the deep fried butter stick. I could just picture someone having a heart attack right after eating one :/

Fish and chips.
I don't know there are any unusual fried foods I've actually tried (you could count Spam fritters in the overkill sense but nearly every fish and chip shop in my country serves them), though I've heard there are crazy people who eat deep fried Mars bars. Seriously.

Calamari is one of my favorites.
BQ: I saw someone deep fry squirrel once during a trip to help with Habitat For Humanity.
I was a little grossed out when I saw them dip the thing in ranch dressing and eat it. :o
