Pistons fans if Josh Smith went their would you be happy or mad?

I'm not a Pistons fan but you guys should be happy.

There has been NOTHING good for the Pistons in years, and getting Smith, even though you're overpaying like f**k for him, is a good step in the right direction, cause hes the best player you guys will have since Billups, RIP and crew were winning a good 7+ years ago.

Is he overrated, yes, will he be overpaid, yes, but he'll make Detriot better.

I'm hella happy if they sign smith. I said ever since day one that the pistons might sign smith and so far I am right. Smoove is the pistons type of player, he plays lock down defense and is great on offense. Cheeks might pair him up with stuckey to create a pick and roll duo and he can be a mentor to Monroe. And to people saying we have to trade Monroe, no we don't since he is under contract. Not to mention smoove and Monroe play totally different positions.

I would be somewhat torn.

If we sign Smith does that mean we're going to trade Monroe? Can't have two starting forwards and Smith (6-9) is too small to play SF.

He's a really good player and I would like to have him in Detroit but that would somewhat affect our young core.

Josh Smith is Overrated and he isn't all that as some people may think, I don't think they would be upset because he is semi-good and they can get some scoring out of him.

Josh Smith is washed up and old. He is an awful shooter and he is probably going to go to boston because Rondo is one of his best friends.

I'm not sure. It would make us more athletic, but we already have terrible outside shooting. He could play SF, but he fits more as a PF and we're covered with G-Mo and Andre.
