Can I recover these imovie video files?
About 3 years ago i recorded a video in Photobooth on my Mac. When I was done, I edited the video in iMovie. The problem is that I then deleted the videos from Photobooth sometime later. Now when I open up iMovie, the video I edited pops up, and has the thumbnails on it, so i can see some frames, but I cant actually watch the video because it says the file is missing.
Is there any way I can recover the files or find them somewhere else on my computer?

No, if you emptied your trash they are gone.
An iMove project is only a text file with instructions on where to find the clips and what to do with them.
Next time, render your movie first (Share > Export) before you delete the source clips.

Hi there,
An "undelete tool" I used to recover my files is Wondershare data recovery. Free Download here http://bitly.com/1qaJBDZ
It's a very simple and nice software.
