On Days how is Sami free?

I missed something. Did Justin have some specific evidence to get her off? I know Sami lied about not having a confrontation with the officer she shot. Or did EJ pull some strings, or threaten someone. It seemed that there was enough evidence, and no no weapon found. Justin just said there wasn't evidence of manslaughter. 
Also, why isn't new momma Gabbi ever seen with her newborn baby? It seems she just hands it over to the boys and has no connection with it. She should at least be home pumping milk rather than trolopping around the park.

Only in make-believe would a grand jury not indict a person that shot someone to death. They did seem to believe her story, but I'm sure in real life, they would still want a trial. But once the video of Sami attacking Bernardi is seen by Adrienne, the pot will be stirred, and  Sami will be back in court. Unless something is done to silence  Adrienne. And about Gabi, she was definitely grumpy with Will and Sonny today. Maybe it's post-partum (spelling?). I don't think she's going to be real easy to get along with. And now Will overheard Sonny's friend talking about this is Sonny's latest adventure, blah, blah. So now Will is going to feel like he should let Sonny be free to roan the world.

Yes for now she is free.
No Justin didn't have a thing but the jury found her innocent.
HA  maybe EJ did have something to do with I hadn't thought of that.
Gabbi had a meeting with Nick stupid but she did. Well today she had a couple of bottles of milk for her baby. To me she isn't to reliable.

The grand jury found her innocent, yeah right you can just look at her and tell she is guilty LOL, she cried her way through this one.
