Is virgin mobile gsm or cdma?

And if its gsm, can I buy an unlocked motorola razr v3 and use it with a virgin mobile sim card? Is the razr v3 even still supported?

Virgin Mobile uses CDMA network and run off of Sprint Network. No GSM network cell phone will work with Virgin Mobile.
