Could there ever be a zombie apocalypse.?
Stupid random question i know, But iv seen a few films were an animal has bitten or past a virus onto a human and if the animals blood gets into the humans blood stream they become a so called 'zombie' and the infection spreads out rapidly and kills masses of people (apocalypse). I know its all fake i get that but is there anyway at all that this could actually happen? Just curious, correct me if im wrong haha.

Well there are multiple scenerios that can make it possible. I haven't studied too deep into these but they sound promising and my friends who have their bachelor degrees in different things agree about their possibility.
1.) Rabies mutating, diseases mutate all the time and there are a couple that have the possibility of mutating into zombie like symptoms that can affect humans.
2.) Bugs, there are certain bugs that can take over a hosts (not humans usually but maybe one day) mind and make them do things, such as one who sucks all the moisture out of ones brain, I can see something like that evolving in a way that the victim will crave something so much that he goes on a violent primal rampage.
3.) A while ago scientists injected a rat with something (might be rabies or something I don't remember) and sent it into space, the mixture hyper evolved the disease the rat had and changed it so that it needed to attack and eat other rats to survive and stop it's own molecular decomposition, I might have gotten an unimportant fact wrong there but the important things are intact.
There are a lot more possibilities but those are the ones I feel qualified for mentioning.
Though I read an article about how there are government agents and scientists who everytime theres an outbreak that sounds dangerous anywhere in the world fly in and help to stop it from spreading so our system for stopping virus' is pretty advanced so an apocolype is unlikely though not impossible.

Well it would have to be like rabies. The average rabies victim after symptoms show has 14 days to live. A zombie disease would have to be stronger, and the body wouldn't be able to support it, so I would give a zombie 4-5 days to live. Also creatures with rabies pretty much can't mobilize easy. Also the infection wouldn't infect people right away it could take days to years depending on where the bite is and how much of the virus got in it. So that would give us time to tell people bitten where to go, plus rabies causes illusions so really someone with that form of virus might not even be violent. In fact I could say they would spend some of their time hallucinating, plus the violent part of rabies comes at the mouth foaming part. That is when they cannot eat, but they would be slow and probably wouldn't bite unless they were in real violent mode.

SIMPLE ANSWER: YES
MEDIUM ANSWER : Possible due to virus adaption from insects to humans that cause Zombie like effects on insect "hosts" mutating to infect humans, but highly unlikely, as its quiet a stable virus and has not jumped species before.
Long answer:
The smallest possibility of that a virus with behavior changing effects on the host or causing death and moving the dead corpse does exists, and when we consider the different virus types out there that do this to insects can possibly mutate /evolve to humans, we can become intrigued and definitely worthy of a few fun science study's.

FUn FACT:
Baculoviruses are being studied to see if they can help cancer patients.
Good luck

even though its not 100% possible it is 100% probable, reasons for a cause of it are unknown, could be from an animal bite, too much radiation exposed to a dead body or just spoiled milk. Honestly i think it can happen maybe not in my lifetime or not even a brain eating frenzy but some problem, remember a zombie is a resurrected human, anyone who lost their heart beat and was brought back to life by chest compressions or electric compressions, check out the CDC site, they will recommend to be prepared for it, so the government also believes its possible

No. There could be zombies, but there could never be a zombie apocalypse. The logistics of how your basic zombie virus works and spreads would mean it would actually prevent ITSELF from spreading very far at all. Maybe patient zero and two or three others, and then it would either be easily contained or wipe itself out.

That's a perfectly legit question. Recent studies have shown that there is a chance where that could happen but most likely not. And not all is fake. The black plague killed thousands back then. Not like zombies but it still killed large masses of people.

Ha ha ha! you have been watching way to much of THE WALKING DEAD. There will be no zombie apocalypse its just a campfire story. There may be a deadly disease one day way out of our reach for right now. BUT NO ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. This is of course is MY opinion. Believe which side of the story you want to believe.
