Did Estee Lauder change their formula back for the Estee perfume?

I need some perfume help! I heard from a bunch of people a while ago that Estee by Estee Lauder changed their formula and smells differently.

Well, one of my friends has a grandma (who was more like a mom) who needs surgery. She used to wear that same perfume. We were thinking of both going in on a bottle for her(I'm going to buy it and she will give me some when she can) but both her and my friend live far from me.

How can I tell if I'm getting the right formula or not? She wants the way it smelled "back in the day"

    I love Estee Lauder's Estee and I have not detected any change in its formula. I doubt that they would make changes to such a popular perfume.

    I just bought some Cinnabar and it's not the same. It smells weak and doesn't last. It's nice but I would love a bottle of the old stuff. They also changed the bottle from before but same name...anyone know? ...or am I wrong?
