What does it mean when someone is "Broken" and "Hit Rock Bottom" ?

Broken means that a person is in a very deep depression, possibility of suicide and little ambition to live. Generally a person can go into that state after a physical or psychological trauma. This is often reversible through medication, support and therapy.

Hitting rock bottom is in some ways similar to being broken. Often it happens with drug addicts and others who have lost or alienated their families and friends, lose their homes, if addictedsufferingg from withdrawal pain, and is at the worst point in their lives. Usually with therapy and medication they can heal.

Such states are usually a combination of emotional , genetic ,, psychological,physical and/or physical

Broken is a deep emotional depression. It is feeling lost or empty.

Hitting rock bottom is things getting the worst they can possibly get. This could be in circumstances or emotions where hit a limit and only can get up from there.

Broken means like...they are depressed or sad. Emotionally depressed, heartbroken.

Hit rock bottoms refers to as a phrase when something in your life has taken a toll. It means that you have fallen so low...not literally falling, but figuratively speaking.
