When I am traveling on an english bus, how much should I tip the driver?

    I have only seen people tip or thank a bus driver in Bermuda, but I have never been to Europe. .

    It rarely happens here. I've never seen a driver been tipped but £1 would be nice.

    Just give the driver a £20 note for your fare and tell him/her to keep the change if there is any.

    a farthing should do. If you don't have one, don't worry, English buses have a little change machine that the driver can use.

    on a bus ... nothing you have paid for trip. on a coach is different.. most offer a £1 in a collection container on dashboard.

    You don't need to tip. All you do is buy your ticket :)
