How to change pool hose sizes?
So I bought a new pool pump because my last one cracked from being out all winter. My old hose size was 1.5" but the new hoses to go to my new pump are 1.25". Due to not being able to use the provided fitting for my pool because the pools holes aren't made for those connectors, how do I convert my hose size from 1.25 to 1.5 inches.
Any way to fix it, it needs to be able to be clamped down to solid plastic hole on one side and the other side would need to be solid plastic to attach the hose to. I can have the clamped down size being 1.5" at my pole and convert for a 1.25" hose to my pump. Or 1.25" clamped down to my pump and run my old 1.5" hoses to my pool.
Please provide any links to something I can purchase to remedy this.

Thanks a lot!
Well, Lowes let me down. But they did point me to a small pool store in a nearby town where I was able to spend another $43 and Jimmy-Rig something up.

Take your problem, along with all of those dimensions, down to Home Depot. Find the employee that's hanging around the P.V.C. area and let him figure it out...or better yet, go back to where you bought the pump.
