Could he possibly like me, what should I do?

So I really like this boy, he's quite a close friend. We normally walk my dog after school to where he gets the bus then I carry on walking, sometimes we make the walks longer. We went to the cinema the other day and he just kept talking to me then the YMCA came on and we just sat there doing while all our other friends just looked at us. After we went back to his and I helped him work his microwave, sounds stupid I know. Then we were all talking it in turns to play call of duty between six of us and I ended up playing against him and he let me kill him a few times. Then I was getting my shoes on and everyone ran out the house and we stood talking for a bit. Sometimes I see him looking in my direction but it could be at one of our friends or something around me. But the other day at lunch we were standing in a circle and he just looked at me,then I looked back at him and he looked away. The problem is at school he's so different to when were walking the dog or if it's just our other close friend. and when our maths teachers ill we always sit together, and apparently were so similar we got called twins the other day. Plus there was four of us walking home the other day and we were in a shape like -_ _- and the bottom too lines were me and him and we were just talking and laughing about the other two who were arguing about something. is there anyway he may possibly like me? I just don't know what to do, should i drop hints, leave it or just ask him out. or any other ideas? thanks for reading all that, and helping if you do.
