T1 and T2 at Changi Airport may take 15 to 30 minutes via the sky train.... So, you have 20 minutes for transfer documentation.....at the transit lounge.... You may just able to board as the door closes...that is, if the connection flight is with the same airline....and your bags arecheck-through... but is seems not... Because you need to change terminals, it is with different airlines.... That means, you need to go through immigration, retrieve your bags, re check-in, go through immigration..... No. You won't have enough time, or it would be a mad rush, and with 2 young kids, that is not funny. Airline industry recommends at least 3 hours layover.

I had one hour gap between flights from BKK airport to Singapore arriving directly from Karachi international airport. With security checks and all , I made the boarding gate 20 minutes before the actual flight time but the boarding had already started....it was a huge walk from your arrival gate to the next boarding gate at BKK but it is better to ask for directions to your next boarding gate from airport staff upon arrival so you would not be wasting extra time on your own.

I thought Changi Airport was the most efficient airport in the world. I was out of the airport in 15 minutes.

However, you need to walk a bit faster and my estimation is you will be making your boarding gate 15-20 minutes in advance. Just walk a bit faster that's all, no strolling around

    Good Luck.....

PS: For me, Changi Airport was the best airport I had ever been to and it was not very crowded at all...signage was big enough for you to follow through directions on your own...

You may not have enough time if the plane lands later than scheduled. Also there is no need to rush to catch the flight to KL as there are plenty of flights between Singapore and KL.

Just catch the next available one which may be only 30 minute or one hour later.
