I like to sit on the toilet in reverse. My Mother thinks it is disgusting, your thoughts?

I recently have started to sit on the toilet in reverse facing the toilet tank.  I rest my arms on tank top, or sometimes I set my book or magazine on it while I read.  And other times I eat cereal and place my cereal bowl on top of the toilet tank.  Don't you think my Mom is getting a little carried away with her concern of how I sit on the toilet when I go to the bathroom?

Thats none of her business. What does it feel like to have something going into your body and at the same time coming out? Id imagine it feels like perfect balance and tranquility. Good luck on your spiritual journey:-)

It seems inappropriate and bad manners.  Eating is not hygenic in the bathroom.  Eating is for the dining room table. Try doing it the normal way for a week.  Really, the toilet is not for entertainment.  Also, if your mom's seeing you like this, you may want to lock the door whenever you are in the bathroom.

Unless you are a toddler your mom has no business in the bathroom so she should not even worry about how you choose to use the bathroom! As long as it all goes in the toilet instead of on the floor, no big deal! lol

I think it is fine. Though most people don't sit that way, if you are more comfortable that way than by all means, sit that way. As long as you aren't making a mess, it is not your mom's business. It is doing her no harm. She needs to stop overreacting.
