How do I talk to my boyfriends parents?
I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 2 years and the parents love me and I love them. My boyfriend thinks I don't talk enough, like... Sorry? I do talk to them but how do I gain the confidence to be more out going and carry conversations... What to do? At all... Thanks

Become more intimate with your conversations. Instead of just asking 'how are you doing?'... keep up with things that are really going on in their lives. Dr appts, if they are healthy, or ask about what interesting things they've been up to.
Connecting well with them is more than just being around them... it's getting to know them very well in a private way too...like your own parents. Invite his mom out to lunch, or have 'a girls' day' getting pedicures (or whatever). Find out what hobbies they are into.. invite them on an excursion they would be interested in.
Remember to be yourself, and get involved with them in a closer way. If 'mom' is a good cook, try to get her to have a cooking day with you to share one of your bf's fave meals/recipes.. Often this is a great way to bond with a mom.. and give you quality time together while you learn something FROM her. That will likely make her feel special, important, and needed. :)

I know exactly how you feel! If you're shy, then you're shy. The parents probably understand you're shy. Just smile, always acknowledge that they're there and ALWAYS be polite. If they love you, you're doing something right!
