brigges & stratton 407777 type 0167-E1 HAVING TROUBLE WITH PUSH ROD bending any ideas?

    Consult the service and maintenance manual for that engine. This should give rod specifications and the valve clearances. The rod could be the wrong size or the wrong material or the engine may have other problems.

    Valve clearance, it is only made of aluminum and will bend if too tight, usually when the temperature rises.
