What DLC should i get for Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim?

For Mass Effect 3, I'd go with the Citadel DLC. It's pure fan service, longer than any of the other DLCs, and unbelievably funny.

I haven't played Skyrim yet (waiting for the Steam Summer Deals). I've heard that Hearthfire is obsolete if you're on PC because there's a free mod that does exactly what the DLC does. Dragonborn is the best reviewed Skyrim DLC.

@D.B. Cooper: Javik in ME3 is not free. You could either get it for $10 or as part of the Collectors' Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition. PC users could unlock the character by changing 2 variables in a config file, but that didn't include the Eden Prime mission.

Dawnguard adds new locations to Skyrim, a new questline and two new opposing factions. Dragonborn adds the island of Solstheim with dozens of new locations to explore and a new questline to do.

Dragonborn is probably better if you want new locations to explore and a new town (Raven Rock) to visit, and Dawnguard is probably better for its questline and for the vampire and werewolf perk trees it adds.

Out of Mass Effect 3's DLC I'd recommend Citadel, especially if you've imported a game save from the first two games. The From Ashes DLC adds a new squadmate (Javik) plus a short mission to recruit him, it's best to start the game with From Ashes installed to make the most of it.

Ahh. It sure is nice being a college grad with a middle class job. I got all the DLC for Mass Effect, and shrugged off the price.

I thought Javik was a free DLC.

i have no experience with mass effect but i played both dlcs for skyrim. dawnguard just gives u some more quests and stuff related to vampires. dragonborn is really epic bcuz u actually get to travel outside of skyrim and go to areas that were in Elder Scrolls Morrowind

Citadel or omega both are great
