Yes it does hurt. I don't care if you use an entire tube of lubrication. It hurts. Nothing has ever been up there before and forced up there. The hymen gets torn. I hurt the entire time. Not only the first time, but the second and third. It didn't start to feel good until the fourth time.

In terms of how long it hurts, essentially it bruises the inside of you. So think of when you get a bruise and how long that hurts when you touch it. A day or two.

It shouldn't hurt at all, because pain is how your body tells you that something is wrong.

The main cause of pain in relation to penetrative sex, is caused but inadequate arousal. When a woman is sexually aroused, she will naturally lubricate, her vaginal muscles will relax, and her cervix will retract, making room for penetration. If these things don't happen, then its not surprising that forcing an object into a closed space will hurt.
