Need to find software, help/advice finding it?
I am searching for a good video editing software for Windows 7. It needs to have the following features:
1) Able to mute specific small segments of a clip (not of the whole clip)
2) Have the option to blur specific faces
3) Be free
I already have Windows Live Movie Maker and it does not contain all of these features. Please do not suggest getting a different computer since I will not get one for the sole purpose of video editing.
Thank you

Lightworks is a good video editor used in the movie industry, the professional version costs money ($60/year), but the lite version is free.
Using blur to hide details or lower the gamma to darken the video, in any variation or combination, can be reversed with software.
You need to make a mask (or use subtract) and then fill the masked area with colors and make a blurred mosaic on top. A blur effect used this way is for aesthetic reason and not for hiding, the mask is used for the latter. The area below the blur needs to be "black" (empty of information) or filled with a random set of colors.

Well what I do is use Microsoft picture professional, crop just the eyes(or anything you need), make the color nicer or hold it the same, then click on the whole photo, and make it black and white. It really works. It's like..The photo is relatively black and white, but the eyes which can be colored are over high the black and white eyes, so the total picture is color eyes/b&w rest.
