Formula for the height, h, as a function of time in seconds, t, using the information given:
h(t) = -4.9t^2 + 3tsin20 = -4.9t^2 + 3t(0.342) = -4.9t^2 + 1.026t
the maximum height is reached when 9.8t = 1.026, or when t = 1.026/9.8 = 0.1047 seconds
at t = 0.1047 seconds, the height is: -4.9(0.1047^2) + 1.026(0.1047) = -0.0537 + 0.1074 = 0.0537 m
Answer A. 0.0537 m.
