    V^2 (final) = V^2 (initial) + 2gh

    Vinitial = 0

    Vfinal = (2 * 9.8 m/s^2 * 4 m)^ 1/2

    Vfinal = 8.854 m/s

    V = √2gh = √(2)(9.81)(4.00) = √78.48 = 8.86 m/s ANS
