Will bad credit cause someone problems with immigration or getting citizenship?
Could having bad credit affect someone from getting citizenship or going through immigration in the Netherlands? I'm not sure if bad credit is a huge factor or if they even run credit checks. I know that having bad credit isn't a reason you will be denied with immigration or citizenship in the U.S., but I'm not sure if it's the same in the Netherlands. I know that you will be denied if you have a criminal history or can be a threat to society, but what about bad credit?
Thank you!

Getting citizenship is not easy. It depends of your nationality, income etc.
The site of the Dutch IND can give you some info

Take a look here:

It does not directly answer your question, but the Stichting Bureau Krediet Registratie most certainly can.
Note however that Europe generally isn't as big on "building up credit" as the US is. The system in the US, where people buy stuff on credit that they could easily afford to pay instantly upon purchase to "build up credit" is just crazy.

Lot of questions: a million) What visa did you come right here on? 2) What visa are you on now? (only being married to a US citizen does not enable you to stay interior the rustic legally) 3)How did you get a SS card? 4) Is your SS card criminal? 5)in case you at the instant are not allowed to artwork what is going to ensue whilst the USCIS starts investigating? you decide on a attorney to determine this out.
