Where do you set how you want your email displayed?
In Yahoo Classic, when I was done reading an email it closed and went back to Messages or at least I had a link at the top of the email to do that. WHERE IS THAT OPTION. I open an email and they all stay open until I close them individually, then it sometimes will take me back to the beginning of signing in. Why couldn't yahoo just leave well enough alone. Such a hassle and time consuming trying to get this new version to work without all the glitches. What a shame... in my opinion Yahoo WAS the best email service around. Now it's just a plain old service with a lot of issues to resolve. Anyone with suggestions on what is a good email source that will allow you to insert pictures INTO the emails, and links and have preferences that make sense, that HELP US to organize and use our email the way we used to???? Thanks would really appreciate any feedback you may have.
Also the constant error readings that pop up or cause you to lose what you are doing especially if you use Yahoo as your browser (or home page).... It wastes so much time. I wish they would work out all the kinks before they update it and make it mandatory to use their new software. Make it work properly, with all the preferences for how we want our email to look, work, and organize and how we want the spam handled like we did before. There were preferences that we had before that are just not there now, even like blocking emails or certain spam, but even trying to update my signature, it goes to an error page.... PLEASE if someone from YAHOO is reading these.... PLEASE fix all the glitches before making us use a new update. Some of us (if not all) depend on our emails for appointment reminders that are sent to us from doctors, emails with important paperwork, confirmation of applications for jobs, and I am not getting all those. My doctors appointment for today, I never received from my doctor, so I assumed it was cancelled, since I could not call early enough to find out. That is not a good email service if we cannot get ALL of our emails... Thanks Hope you can work this out soon. I'd hate to have to change now with so many years with Yahoo and all my contacts would have to be contacted and that in itself is a LARGE endeavor. Thank you hope to hear back from someone soon

Feedback form is at the end....they are always open to suggestions
I see where some on this site believe I work for Yahoo because of the below answer...I am 72 and I can assure you I do not work for them...below is my honest opinion. I might also add that we ALL started on Yahoo at one time....It was a learning process that we had to go through...We got through it and liked it..Starting with a new format is tougher for some of us, but we out here will help you through it...
I have to admit that I did not like the New version when it first came out. Like me, if you just give it a chance and learn how it works, you will like it as much as the Classic. The below links should help.

Classic version is no longer available. You now have the New version or the Basic version of it. In addition...ALL of your emails are on one page. The best way I have found to scroll down through them is to place your pointer in the scroll box on the right side and ONE click to move your emails down/up one page and either holding down the pointer with the left click of your mouse or RAPIDLY clicking on the mouse to move the emails up/down RAPIDLY.

If you want to go to a "basic" version (not Classic which is gone) then select mail options under the gear icon in the upper right. On the "general" options page scroll to the bottom. There you have a choice of "full featured" or "basic". Click on SAVE when done. If you decide on the Basic format some features will be missing...open this link for details....

Note: for you that like only so many emails per page...use this. I do not see where you can determine how many per page, but you will have 25 per page(that is what I have)AND you will have page.OPTIONS, but I do not have it...
Note: I have seen that this is the format you should use if you have a slow/old computer. In some cases you can only access Basic because of certain browsers (old ones)

There is one option in the New format if you want fewer emails per page..starting with six...Hover your pointer over the GEAR...upper right...then MAIL OPTIONS...then place a check mark in the box left of "Enable Preview Pane" and click on SAVE...Once the screen is up you can increase the number of emails displayed by placing your cursor on the line just below the list(goes left to right)click and hold down the left click of your mouse and drag it down. Even though you have a few less emails than the normal view.....You will still have to scroll down through all your emails as they are ALL still on ONE page.
