    Vertex (3, - 2):

    h = 3

    k = - 2

    Focus (3, - 4):

    Fx = 3

    Fy = - 4

    p = Fy - k:

    p = - 4 - (- 2)

    p = - 4 + 2

    p = - 4

    a = 1 / 4p:

    a = 1 / 4(- 2)

    a = 1 / - 8

    a = - 1/8

    Latus Rectum = L:

    L = | 1 / a |:

    L = [ 1 / (- 1/8) ]

    L = [ - 8 |

    L = 8

    Endpoints of Latus Rectum:

    (Fx ± 1/2 L, Fy):

    One Endpoint:

    A (Fx - 1/2 L, Fy):

    A [3 - 1/2 (8), - 4]

    A (3 - 4, - 4)

    A (- 1, - 4)

    Other Endpoint:

    B (Fx + 1/2 L, Fy):

    B (3 + 4, - 4)

    B (7, - 4)

    Endpoints of Latus Rectum A(- 1, - 4) & B(7, - 4)
