Why is human hair smuggled?
I recently heard that human hair is smuggled in large quantities and are secretly taken to countries in Africa. But I don't know for what. Why is this done? What will anybody do with human hair? And why is it illegal to smuggle it?

Everything gets smuggled, even the most irrelevant things you can think of, are being smuggled, just like there's fakes of everything, even things that really don't need fakes(like electricity-outlet covers).
Hair gets smuggled to make wigs, and wigs are big-money, so it's very profitable.
It's illegal to smuggle because they avoid paying taxes, and there's no safety-checks to ensure product-safety.

I guess druggies are now buying it on the black market so they can pass drugs tests at work.
