Synthetic is the best, especially for sports bikes, a number of mechanics I have been to recommend it, and they are not even the ones selling it so they are not biased or looking to make extra money.

here is the scoop..it doesn't matter as long as you realize that oil is the life blood of your bike and keeping it fresh will keep it running longer....I change mine between 2000 and 2250 miles..I just turned 80,000 on my 929
