How does one stay vegetarian?
It's like...I'll start the vegetarian lifestyle but then I'll end up eating chicken nuggets or a cheeseburger by the end of the week. Then I feel horrible and icky and bleh...
What can I do?

There's meat replacements, so don't worry. there's vegetarian brands, like Quorn. Each brand at least has one thing that taste like meat. With Quorn, you'd probably like the southern style chicken strips (it's like healthy KFC type chicken) lots of meat eaters like it. There's also the Quorn sausage which is really nice, better than real sausage in my opinion.
There's other quorn things, that's just what I recommend. Try out other brands as well, each brand is unique. Some try to taste like meat, some try to be different. :)
Please research into vegetarianism, there's health benefits, and there's treatment of the meat industry which is good to learn. The more you learn, the more willing you are to stay vegetarian.

I went from being a vegetarian to being a vegan. It was not easy. :) But what I did to help keep myself on track was always have an on-the-go snack ready. Something like granola bars, fresh fruit, crackers, healthy trail mix, etc. Having a can or bag of trail mix in my car was a life saver for sure!
Another thing that changed everything was having veggie patties in my freezer for those times when i had a burger craving or just needed a quick meal. They make "chicken" patties too for your chicken cravings.
I hope this helps keep you on track. Good luck!

By disliking meat dishes to begin with.
Nobody stays a strict Vegetarian when they actually like the taste of meat.
Considering the low quality choices of your binges, I suggest you could just substitute in the fake meat products, since they taste a lot like the low quality meats you binge on. I suspect that what your'e really binging on is convenience, rather than the actual foods.

Ask yourself why you ate those things. Were you out and it was convenient? Were you craving those foods? If you were out, just remind yourself to search for only veggie options. If you were craving, pick up veggie chicken nuggets and/or burgers. They are not 100% like the real thing, but usually enough to satisfy a craving.
Ultimately it comes down to your commitment level. If you are committed to being a vegetarian, you need the self-control. If you are finding it that hard to stay veg, perhaps this is not the right diet for you right now.

Figure out why you are eating the chicken and cheeseburgers. Is it because you are hungry and there is nothing else to eat? If that's the case, then all it takes is a little planning. Make yourself a weekly meal plan, or just use one online, like this one:

Make a shopping list to go with your meal plan (some of the online programs have them already made for you) so that you buy enough food when you go grocery shopping and know what you're going to make with it.
If you're going to be out of the house at meal time and can't pack a meal, make a list of vegetarian-friendly restaurants near your work or school:
Or learn how to eat good food at chain restaurants:

Best of luck!

well, in my case i had stopped eating sh*tty fast food several years prior, so impulse chicken nuggets weren't an issue.
so yeah, buy food to cook with and cook yummy meals. make cooking a hobby- and it is a wonderful and rewarding hobby for anyone, not just vegetarians. and when you go out to eat, choose your restaurants carefully. that is the best way to stick with it.

Eat foods that supplement meat in meals. For instance instead of meat in a lasagna, use egg plant.
