My Honda Insight (2010) fuel economy has been dropping slightly, why?
I just recently got my car battery (not the hybrid battery) replaced, and prior to the replacement, I would be able to get 41.7 to 42 mpg of fuel efficiency pretty easily according to the dashboard display. Since the battery replacement, I have not been able to get my fuel efficiency over 40mpg. Is this normal?

whatever difference you're seeing the battery replacement has nothing to do with it.
My guess is it's due to it being the summertime and you're using the AC more. That would explain a 1-2 MPG difference.

They way your driving? Can be mpg had been reset when you replaced the battery, and see a change, or any of the answers above..

I agree with the last answer, but also consider that when the temperatures go up engines become less efficient too.
