Should NASCAR have a short track exhibition race?

Since short track racing is some of the best racing in NASCAR, should they have a non-points race at Bristol or Richmond. Known as the" Sprint Short Track Showdown." you qualify by winning a short track or road course race in the past 2 years/

NASCAR already has a Superspeedway exhibition race (Sprint Unlimited) and on an intermediate track (All-Star) but there isn't 1 on a short track.

What do you people think?

It's not a bad idea but you'd have to open it up to more drivers than that to make it worth while.

Also, since the media likes to pick favorites based on past results, which actually have little meaning in NASCAR racing, they should hold it at a track that hasn't been on the Cup Series schedule for a while. A track like Hickory Motor Speedway, or North Wilkesboro would be great. Maybe even a track that's NEVER been on their schedule. Imagine Jimmie Johnson showing his true driving talent by bouncing off all 4 corners at some local track like Toledo Speedway in Ohio or Flat Rock up in Michigan. Now, wouldn't that make things interesting?

The Allstar race use to be a great race now it has become a joke just like the Pro Bowl in football. So no!
