computer is suddenly going very slow and freezing?

im looking at

physical memory

total 1013

cached 138

free 1 - 20

physical memory 86%

cpu usage 47%

used 43gb

free 179 gb

avg

done the disk clean up

error check

defrag

ram 1gb

32bit

1.66 ghz

would any of this explain my slowness. no, not me, my computer

    You have a slow CPU, then small memory, and now something is running in the background, either a virus or some software gone berserk.
