How long does it take for the AF recruiter to get back with me on when meps is?

Be patient. Some can be in the DEP up to a year. The AF is very hard to get into. Keep up with the phone calls to the recruiter. They will have to let you know what your status is at least. Best wishes.

well im join the Marine corp i waited about two months to go to meps even test year round they usually take you and some other people there so they can just get every cleared at once and not have to keep going back again again anyway in i went there on the 19th of may and then again on the 20 longest ******* two days ever i hardly got any sleep its a long day and the physical is a pain just ask your recruiter what they make you do anyway dont smoke any marijuana if you do for at least a month because you have to take a urine or and a blood test and have why not go to your recruiters office and ask

There are a lot of people trying to join the military right now. I am not sure, but last time I checked there was a waiting list to go to MEPS and get sent to training. Your recruiter is probably busy. I would just call him up and say something like "Hey this is (Name). I sent in my papers a few weeks ago and just wanted to call and be sure you have everything you need to get me to go to MEPS."

When I went to enlist in '08, I talked and sent my recruiter papers Monday, and went to meps that same Saturday.

Mine scheduled me a MEPS appointment 2 days after I took my ASVAB... But I'm an AF Reservist, so things might be a bit different.
