Why do some Americans hate Obama?

He's just another guy, no better, no worse. Why, in the wonderful free democratic land of justice and liberty for all, is the first Black president the object of so much venom?

Update:

Elegual, I think I've been around longer than you. I was born when Truman was president.

I think Eisenhower got a free ride because of his wartime service. During his term, most Americans thought they were put on Earth to show the rest of us "the way". We've all seen how that has played out.

I'm still waiting for a rational argument backed up with references to things Obama has actually done.

During my life, it's always been like this: a GOP president tanks the economy, runs up the debt and leaves office to resounding cheers for being a tough guy. A Democrat follows, we have an economic boom and even Clinton's surplus, yet hate radio/TV blast the Democrat as un-American and communist (the list of stupidity is endless).

Obama is hated even more for being half-black. Bush sent our economy down a sinkhole by raiding the treasury. Obama is tugging the economy out of the sinkhole despite Republican vows to stop him no matter the issue. "My job is to make sure Obama fails"- Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell.

I give up. My fellow Americans can be such dim bulbs. I'm furious at Obama over the NSA spying scandal, but it's my right because I voted for him.

The black part doesn't help (with some people), but if you've been around for a while, you'll find that all presidents inspire venom while they're in office. You should have seen some of the crap on the message boards during Clinton's era.

Similarly, there are often an equal number of people who will irrationally worship the current president (whomever that may be).

It usually takes about a decade after said president's term is up, for people to start reasonably judging a president as being overall good or bad for the country. It takes that long for the raw emotion to wear off, and for people to reasonably observe the results of said president's policies.

A lot of Americans believe he was placed in power by secret socities (political mob families) to bring in tyrannical rule of law that's Marxist influenced for a world government. You should read "Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky, "Pawns in the Game" by William Carr, "Behold a Pale Horse" by Bill Cooper and "None dare call it a Conspiracy" by Gary Allen if you think he's just charming relatable handsome man by accident. His whole presidency so far mimics others like Stalin, Lenin, Mao and Hitler before they started slaughtering people although he is slaughtering daily in the Middle East and Africa just not here in the US but some believe it's been planned or secretly happening with no media reports. Some neo conservatives are racists but they'd be willing to let somebody in regardless of color to get out Obama's policies but the neo conservatives are no different according to conspiracy theorists.

By the way he reinstated the unconstitutional Patriot Act (he was against in 2008), he reinstated the unconstitutional NDAA (with new provisions that allow him to be judge, jury and executioner without due process on any US citizen), he lied about closing GITMO where a lot of innocent people are being held, he wants gun control because only his boot lickers will be armed, he orders attacks that kills innocent children in the Middle East, he beta tested nazi like martial law in Boston which appears to some as a false flag (inside job terror plot), Obamacare is killing jobs, he's uses race baiting for political gain, the US has been downgraded, has signed laws that kill free speech etc... What is to like?

Many people probably do not want him as President because of their views of who should the president should be. Some people might not want a black president or others might not want a democrat. I personally don't think the political party or race should matter. It matters on what person they are and what they can do for this country. But many Americans can't realize that.

    I have absolutely no idea.

Although i would say that it's kinda a big part of democracy, i like my right to criticize any government.

I don't follow closely, although i definitely liked Obama when i first knew of him, and I haven't been convinced he earns the venom. How does the American medias and churches think of him?

I don't hate him, but it seems ultimately he follows his own agenda, even if he can't get Congress to go alonng with him, he'll find a way to circumvent Congress, and get his agenda done anyway. It shouldn't work that way.
