Only a tiny percentage of Marine Corps recruiters have committed sexual misconduct and only a tiny percentage of that group have committed rape. A correct question would be : "Why do a few Marine Corps recruiters rape innocent civilian prospects?" The answer: Because they stupidly succumb to the temptation of the opportunity that the power in which their position has placed them. Such behavior is inexcusable. Some perspective... Sexual misconduct by some recruiters is not limited the Marine Corps. There is a small percentage of recruiters in every branch of the service that are guilty of sexual misconduct. Abolishing the Marine Corps will not resolve this. Perhaps you could start a write-your-congressman campaign to abolish the male gender.
