I have a serious question! & please answer it!?
I saw this trailer about a cartoon called Pocoyo or whatever it's called, I know that it's only a cartoon and all but why did they name that duck Pato?! SERIOUSLY!!
Do you have any idea what Pato means in spanish?!
If I was old enough I would actually write a complaint about that! The word "Pato" means gay I know because I am Puerto Rican
If you also have a problem with the characters name as well please write it under I would like to see what you think of it.

For many, a name is a name without any understanding as to what it may mean in other languages.
I saw the film "Wolf Children" and the children are named Yuki and Ami. I did not know later that they were Japanese for 'snow' and 'rain'. Although benign, to me it was just a name.
I am initially assuming that the makers of the cartoon took what they felt was a cute name without any regards as to what it means in other languages.
As to not being old enough, you are always old enough to lodge a complain of this nature. Let them know of the inappropriate nature of it.
