im writing a story and my character has a special friend-pet animal that looks after her. I want that animal to be small and non-threatening to other animals (herbivore) and i want it to be cute and underplayed in more stories

-Beaver
-Rabbit
-Hedgehogs
-Red squrrels

my favorite forest animal is the bear because they are generally awesome you would see many of them as stuffed animals and it is great to see they are good for everyone when people are young

I've always liked moles (even though most people think their ugly or gross). They are not herbivores but they only eat bugs.
