I'm going on pointe in a month?
So we had our annual auditions for company and of course i made it and made it in adv. classes again but this year in auditions they chose only about 4 girls or so to go on pointe including me!So im super excited but nervous because once I'm on pointe things change and i must be careful.I'm nervous that i will injure myself or if im not ready.What are some stretches and exercises that help strengthen my ankles and be more prepared?My teachers said im ready thankfully but i still want to prepare for this next big step!Thanks (:

Roll through and then literally do a sh*tload of releves and eleves in all the positions, one 2 feet and one footed. also stretch out your hips as much as possible to help with turn out. then balance in all the positions making extra sure you dont sickle your feet and you're all the way up on the ball of your feet. if you do this often you'll have insane muscles and strong feet/ankles :)
