Cu + FeSO4(aq) = no reaction. Cu is less active chemically than Fe, so cannot replace Fe out if its compound.

when iron rod is dipped in cu sulphate soln. Cu is deposited as from metal reactivity series, iron is more reactive than copper so it displaces cu from its salt soln. but nothing happens when cu rod is dipped in iron sulphate soln. as cu is lower to Fe in activity series so it cannot displace a more reactive metal.
