I'm very worried about my new piercing?

I got my cartilage (helix) pierced exactly 9 days ago. I went to a professional piercing parlor and got it done with a needle. By the 8th day, a small little red bump was at the end of my piercing. The piercing sometimes moves its place by itself. I clean it twice a day with solution. The pain in my ear is bothering me so much. When there was crust on the back of the piercing, I lightly peeled it off and that's when the bump appeared. PLEASE. I need help immediately!

Go back to the piercer & ask them about it.

It's a keloid. Some people get them pretty easily with cartilage piercings. Look up a recipe for salt water using sea salt, and put that on it three times a day. Or the shop you got it done at may sell it.

If that doesn't make it go away, the only thing that will is to just take the piercing out. It's no big deal though, keloids are harmless besides the fact they're painful.

Normally they can get quite painful, quite soon after, the piercer should have told you how long it should take to heal properly and it will be painful until it has fully healed, just keep on washing it with the solution and occasionally putting some salt water on it (this might hurt) but it will do it the world of good!

Using a needle can tear your cartilage, using a gun may have helped this, but go back and talk to the person that did it, if that's no help go to a doctor.

    Hope this helped :) x
