When circuit "splits" does Volt or Amp decrease?

Part 1: For Example, you have a 2 Amp, 5 volt power source. It is connected to a wire which then splits in two and feeds two devices. Does the current or voltage decrease?

You should learn the correct terminology.

You are describing a parallel circuit.

Now the current REQUIRED is equal to the current consumed by each branch.

So the individual currents ADD to give the total current.

The volts remain at 5V across each branch.
