If God never dies (1 Timothy 1:17) but Jesus is God and died on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:3)?

Which of the 2 verses should be expunged (deleted) from the Bible and why?

Update:

@No chance with Jesus - Jesus did not die, only his body did! I suppose you use the same logic as in Jesus is the Son as well as the Father!!

Update 2:

@buffy602 - there is little hope for those who are bent on a leading role in "paradise lost"

"Jesus is the Son of God, but also God at the same time. It's confusing. And there is a lot of debate about it. "Jesus died, he was resurrected (by God) three days later."

Well, there's also the fact that Jehovah God told Moses "no man can see me and live" ... yet many saw Christ.

Neither should be deleted. Not all passages of the Bible are meant to be taken literally- The Bible isn't a history book, and often one must read between the lines to understand the true messages. According to the Bible, Jesus is the Son of God. Most christians believe that Jesus is/was human, and the Son of God, but also God at the same time. It's confusing. And there is a lot of debate about it. Also, even though Jesus died, he was resurrected (by God) three days later.

Only Christ's body died on the cross but he was alive in the Spirit.

(1Pet 3:18-19 ) ...being put to death in the FLESH, but quickened by the Spirit:

By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison.

Not only was our Lord alive in the spirit BETWEEN his death and resurrection but he preached to the faithful who were with Abraham (Luke 16:23-31 )

The cults just do not understand spiritual matters from the bible because they are not saved and do not have the holy spirit to teach them. (Rom 8:9, 1Cor 2:14, and John 14:26 )

Jesus Christ is God Almighty in the flesh who created all things. The holy scriptures declare this (John 1:1,3,14 and Col 1:16-17 ) but the cults wont believe this and instead will trust unsaved mans words who teach otherwise. The bible calls these teachings ..."doctrines of DEVILS".. (1Tim 4:1 )

Simple question to ask a cult member who denies Christs deity and physical resurrection is this:

Jesus prophesied that he would raise HIMSELF form the dead in (John 2:19-21 ) but (Acts 2:32 ) says that God raised Christ's body.

Q: Who raised Jesus from the dead -- Jesus himself or God ? The cults will have no option but to say both scriptures are true but then ask them -- doesn't that make Jesus -God ?

Unfortunately its a question they wont answer.

    Almighty God, Jehovah, never dies

Jesus, son of god died , and was resurrected by God on the third day.

    all makes sense

problem comes when people think Jesus is Almighty God, which is never the case,

no scripture in the bible says that,

but most people believe a trinity doctrine, never found in the scriptures.

the word god is applied to spirit creatures and humans. it is a title not a person.

    all Gods have names.

even Moses was made a God

(Exodus 7:1, 2) 7 Consequently Jehovah said to Moses: “See, I have made you God to Phar′aoh, and Aaron your own brother will become your prophet.

    2 You—you will speak all that I shall command you;

Jesus is also called God , because like Moses he represented Jehovah God and was God`s spokesman

Jesus is fully God and fully man. He became flesh, and he died. But all humans were created with an eternal spirit and soul, which does not die. That is why hell is forever, and heaven is forever. When Jesus died in the flesh, He went to Paradise, the holding place of the souls of the righteous dead. Then He rose again after three days.

Neither, get the story straight. Jesus was God incarnate, manifest as a man, a real human being that could suffer, feel pain, in every way he was human so he could die, But in death he lived. Check his tomb it's empty, "he is not here for he is risen"

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15

Neither of them. Jesus's body died but his soul is always alive. Remember, God loves us and he sent Jesus to die for our sins. If that never happened, we would die just like him (maybe not on a cross but you know what I mean).

it was not possible that death could hold Jesus.

DEATH COULD NOT HOLD HIM ... “having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.” (Acts 2:24)

may Gods Holy Spirit open your eyes and teach you absolute truth.

    in Christ

Lord and Savior, Eternal Father, God.
