Why does my friend want to hang out all the time?
Ok so me and my best friend have hung out almost every day this summer. Today my brothers roommate from college is coming over and were gonna go out to dinner with him. My friend asked if I could hang out with him and some other people but I told him I was busy. He asked why I had to go and I just said I dont know. It's kind of getting annoying cause I just want to spend some time away from him. He's my best friend and he always will be but this is just getting annoying as hell

Just tell him exactly how you feel!
I don't know why he wants to hang out all the time. Maybe he gets bored easily, and since you are his best friend, you are his main source to cure his boredom. That is just speculation though.
I find it is best to be completely honest. Tell him that you and he will always be best friends, but you need your alone time as well! I can tell you from my own experiences that if you don't tell him you want to hang out with other people and do other things, and just tell him you have to go somewhere, he will be more hurt by your actions than if you are truthful to him.

when he asked why you had to go and you said you dont know there is where the problem lies. theres no reason you need to feel obligated to him, and most importantly you inadvertantly lied when you said you dont know, because the answer should have been you want to go, no big deal.
