Why do Christians pretend they know Jesus more than Jesus?

The message that Christians try to follow is different to what Jesus taught. Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God whereas Christians talk about Jesus. Most of the stories about Jesus were added by the Early Church anyway.

Jesus affirms that He is God in the Bible, here are some quotes:

John 14:9 Jesus said to him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Show us the Father?

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me.

John 8:24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM He, you will die in your sins.

John 14:6-7 Jesus said to him, “I AM the way, the truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Thomas says: Ο Κύριός μου και ο Θεός μου - The Lord of me, the God of me

Isaiah calls him wonderful counsellor

Peter looks at him and says: you are the Christ the son of the living God

Paul in Acts 9 asks: what would you have me to do Lord?

Have you ever spoken to a Jehovah's Witness? Not all Christians believe that Jesus is God. Some of us recognise him as a creation of God who resided in Heaven with God before being sent to Earth.

Because Christians do not believe what was written in the gospels pertains to them, they are like unto the scribes and Pharisees, "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Christians have their own laws, and judgements just as the Jews had their own laws and judgements.

Christian believe wealth and power are blessings from God, so that they can continue to be wealthy and be honored by one another, and pass judgement on the poor for their lack of blessings..

They have attempted to changed the words and meaning of those words of Luke 16:13, Matt 19:23-24, Matt 25:31-46 and Luke 22-23,

"And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom:

the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom."

They are quick to judge others by what they say in their hearts of God, but they do not know God or Jesus, therefore they will die in their sin. Pray for them, forgive them but do not do as they do. For they have been given their rewards.

Not easy to answer as Christianity is a broad church.

I have never met one who does.
