whenever an exclamation point is used in math, it means factorial. Factorial means the exclamation point's coefficient (in this case, it's 10) multiplied by all number going down from the coefficient (10) to one. So, yes, this is correct.
10!= 10*9*8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1
Just the same as this..
9!= 9*8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1
Any number with an exclamation point after it means that number multiplied by all going down, I know I said this twice but im saying it again just to get the point across.
So......
5! = 5*4*3*2*1
4! = 4*3*2*1
3! = 3*2*1

without multiplying this problem all the way out, I can see that 10*9 already = 90 and as far as I've been taught, 90 is more that 10--so the answer of 10 is false.

That's not true ! That's called Factorial
And Factorial 10 is 3628800
