How Do I Tell Him About It?
I met this guy online and I was just bored when I started chatting with him. Turns out, he's a really cool person. I like him as a friend. The problem is, I lied to him. Alot. I just started talking to him for fun so I didn't think we'd become close but we have. I lied about my age, name. Pretty much my whole identity. I feel really bad and really wanna tell him. How do I without him getting mad? I don't wanna lose him, he's a good friend. Thanks in advance.

Be honest. The best thing you can do is tell him the truth. He met the real you already, the kind of personality you have. Things shouldn't change if he like the real you. Tell him that you weren't comfortable giving him your real age because you didn't feel so safe. He'll understand. Good luck!

Might as well come out with the truth before you dig yourself into a deeper hole. He's gonna get mad, there's just no way around that. Put yourself in his shoes...wouldn't you be at least a little upset if he were to lie to you about his entire life. ...and you never know, he could be hiding something too. good luck

tell him just that! Say you don't want to lose him but at first you didn't know any thing was going to come of it. Cat fishing is a very serious thing and if he cares about you enough he won't want to lose you either. Think about how you would feel if he did the same to you.

Just tell him you lied about everything because you didn't think you'd be that close. Or say that you were nervous to open up as your real self or some ****. :p
