Do Sony Xperia phones crash often?

Question

I'm buying a smart phone tomorrow and I was looking at a few Sony Xperia phones: J, SP, and L. I'm not really sure what's different about them other than the price tag. Anyways, I was wondering if they crash often or get slow after a few months as I used to have the Xperia play ( I think thats what it's called) and it kept crashing. Is it the same with other sony phones?
 I was also looking at the HTC one SV and huawei ascend G510 so any recommendations on those would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It depends on which phone you're taking about; cheap ones crash ofteen but expensive ones no. Xperia J is so laggy and crashes often. Xperia SP is the best out of the phones you mentioned.

I have been planning on getting a brand new cell for a whilst and i'm mainly going to get the Xperia S. Remember that plenty of new phones are released round October. They'll probably be just a few new Sony's by then (the Xperia S's replacement is rumoured to be launched in July), the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the iPhone 5.

Xperia SP crashes often, yes. Browsing Google Chrome or Firefox while listening to music, it'll either crash out or the music will suddenly stop and you'll have to manually search for that song and rewind it to where you were bumped out of. It's a total bogus phone, and the camera quality is pretty shocking. I've downloaded the latest update, so here's hoping. Oh, and it loves to kill SD cards too.

i have used two xperia phines xperia sola and xperia l both never crashed
