What video editing program should I use?
I want to start making achievement guides and putting them on youtube, but I don't know what program I should use. I need to able to be able to load videos to the program from a capture card, record and edit audio, and then layer the audio onto the video. If you know of a program or combination of programs that could do this I could really use some suggestions. Thanks!
If you know of a good capture card that will accept both real time audio recording and post-recording voice overs that that would be nice to know also.

The Vegas Pro collection combines Vegas Pro, and Dolby Digital AC-3 encoding software to offer an integrated environment for all phases of professional video production.

Not sure what your budget is, here, so this is a happy medium between balls-to-the-wall high end and affordability:
1: in terms of a video card, Blackmagic make AWESOME hardware for a great price.
2: this card would be compaitible with Final Cut Pro (if you are on a Mac) or Adobe Premiere (if you are using PC). I cannot say that I am a huge fan of either of these, but I find them preferable to Sony Vegas. My first choice of editing app is Avid Media Composer, but at $1000 for the latest version (Ver 7), this might be a little steep.
