How can i tell if i cut a major vein or blood vessel or something on my palm?
I was using scissors and they slipped and I stabbed my left palm. I've never bled so much in my life. Blooded just poured out of the wound. It's an inch maybe to the left if there were an invisible vertical line down my palm and a half inch up from where the wrist meets the hand. Below the cut there is a very light blue section that is a little swollen. My lower palm is slightly numb. It hurts badly. Did I cut a major vein or vessel or something important?

You need to go to the doctors NOW! Don't make an appointment just walk into the hospital. You shouldn't waste time on here asking us if you hit a major vein. We aren't professionals, the doctos at your local hospital are. For now wrap your hand in a CLEAN towel and apply pressure so it stops the bleeding. If you can't drive ask a friend or take a taxi. Whenever you injure yourself badly, you go to the doctors not type away on your computer. Good luck :)

No, it is easily no longer secure to reduce it off. human beings have bled to death as through the circumcision. no longer only are there blood vessels interior the foreskin, yet there are thousands of nerves that you won't be able to see. some circumcision victims conflict through continual nerve soreness after circumcision.
