Liberals is Saviorcare a failure or are unions just hypocrites?

So, about this Saviorcare that unions fought tooth and nail for, that unions hailed as a great step forward. Now unions are railing against Saviorcare, and want to get special provisions so that their workers specifically don't have to comply with the law.

Oh, what a great advancement, this wonderful Obamacare . . . this Saviorcare.

Yeah, let's get rid of unions like every authoritarians country in history has.

Countries that either banned unions outright or set up fake unions that serve the state

    Saddam Hussein’s Iraq

    China

    Nazi Germany

    Soviet Union

    Syria

    Mubarak’s Egypt

    Iran

    Cuba

    North Korea

    Uganda under Idi Amin

    Libya under Qhaddafi

    Saudi Arabia

    Communist Romania

    Pinochet’s Chile

    Fascist Spain

    Fascist Italy

I’d make the list longer, but you get the idea — name a dictatorship and you’ll see that they either banned unions outright or legislated into existence a bogus union that represented the interests of the state, not the workers. Bonus fun: the Solidarity movement in Poland — a labor movement — was instrumental in the fall of the Soviet Union. This goes a long way toward explaining why bad guys are afraid of unions.

Of course, history shows a few good guys who wanted to bust all unions, like… Umm… Uhhh… Looks like I was wrong. History offers no example of a freedom-loving country working to eliminate unions.

And that says a lot about Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Scott Walker, or any random Republican you can think of. Enemies of unions are not friends of freedom.
