What's the deal with PewDiePie and his fans?
I absolutely cannot stand PewDiePie. The guy will not stop screaming, so ears feel like they're going to start bleeding less than a minute into the video. But that's not what bothers me the most. If I never had to hear about the guy then I'd be totally fine with it.
But I can't do that.
Every time I watch a gaming video the comment section is bombarded with his fans hating on the person who posted the for "copying" PDP and will even false-flag the video. I have known many people who have had videos removed because of this, and even a couple who have had their entire accounts banned. I have gotten multiple death threats from his "bros" for stating my opinion in a polite way. I can't stand this guy, nor his legions of insane 9-year old fans.
I just want to know, from some of you "bros," WHY do you do this?
It solves nothing. It just makes you and the person you are "defending" look like kids who can't take a bit of criticism.
So tell me. Tell me why. I want to hear a legitimate answer. I want to know why you harass people.
I want to know WHAT you think doing this will solve.
EDIT: The answers filled with profanity are quite amusing. This shows that you completely missed the point and completely failed to read my entire question. I asked what you think flaming people will solve. Your answers are just more senseless flaming.

Hey! To the other dumb answerers, he can right what he wants, its the internet, and also learn to read because he was more saying that youtube is spamming pewdiepie vids in suggestions and that his 9 year old fans are f*cked and that smaller youtubers are paying the price

Pewdiepie is a youtuber who is funny but in a little different way. Some people (like me) are totally amused by the moments that happen in the game. It is at least for me like a little slap comedy. Problem is that if you are this popular your fans include little children who don't bother read properly and just attack you. And worse, sometimes they are only ones commenting. I've never left any comment at pewdiepies video because I know that with that amount of people no one will care about what I write and I don't bother to, because I don't wanna argue with those people. I get while watching Pewdiepie why some people wouldn't like him, but it is just my type of humour. Not the jokes often but the way he edits the videos is just brilliant and funny as hell. I totally get why you don't like him, but as I say. He started something people liked it so he kept doing it, and now he is at that amount of views that he can't really do anything about those people, unless he would stop with his whole career and his whole life basically like that. But like with music. Why would you stop if it is what you like to do. So I don't hate people who don't like pewdiepie. I get even reasons why they don't like him. I just don't like when people put guilt on the you tuber as if bros were his children. Even if they were as his children, one man can't really take control on 20 million of them. He doesn't defend them and he even said in many of his videos how pissed he is because of the comment section and where it is going.

Pewdiepie is funny. Who gives a $hit if you don't like him, obviously not everyone will.
What right do you have to decide for everyone whether or not to like him.
He makes ME laugh, and heaps of other people laugh, if you don't like him DONT ******* WATCH HIM!!!?

This is not a "polite" way to state your opinion, is it? No one cares if you don't like him, because you don't have to watch!!? It's that simple!
Why do I like him? Because he's funny as **** and he makes me laugh. Does it look like I, or anyone else, gives a $hit about whether or not you like him.
And I sure as hell know he won't give a **** about pathetic haters like you.
